YourLastScreener.AI

Privacy Policy for YourLastScreener.AI

This Privacy Policy explains how the YourLastScreener.AI Chrome extension and related services collect, use, store, disclose, and delete information.

Effective date: August 12, 2026

1. What the extension does

YourLastScreener.AI helps research participants maintain a reusable profile, prioritize visible research opportunities, and review suggested screener answers on supported research platforms. The extension does not apply to studies or submit screeners without the user’s action and does not guarantee qualification, acceptance, participation, or payment.

2. Information we collect

Account and device information. When the extension initializes, it may create an anonymous account and collect a random installation identifier, account identifier, User-Agent, browser language, extension version, IP address contained in ordinary server logs, and session information. If you bind an account, we collect your email address or information needed to verify your Google identity, together with authentication and session tokens used to keep you signed in.

Profile information. We collect information you choose to provide in your Profile, including birth month, country or region, gender, languages, education, employment, industry, work functions, interests, activities, product usage, purchase habits, fitness activities, gaming, pets, travel, fashion, content creation, and similar research-participant attributes.

Supported website content. On User Interviews, Respondent, and Prolific, the extension may read visible research opportunity information such as study or task identifiers, titles, descriptions, displayed rewards, durations, requirements, locations, deadlines, metadata, and limited URL paths. The extension does not read your general browsing history outside the supported sites.

Screener information. On supported User Interviews and Respondent screeners, the extension reads question text, question types, required status, option identifiers, and option text to generate suggestions. When you click a platform’s Continue or Submit control, the extension records the form’s current answers, including selected options and text or numeric answers, and sends them to our service. Long-form text may be recorded even when no answer suggestion was provided.

Product usage information. The extension stores a limited local record of product events such as onboarding progress, recommendation results, suggestion acceptance or rejection, supported platform, question counts, and success or failure codes. These events do not include raw email addresses, verification codes, authentication tokens, question text, answers, or full URLs.

3. How we use information

We use information to create and maintain accounts; save and update Profiles; provide research opportunity recommendations; generate screener suggestions; learn reusable facts from answers the user chooses to submit; display Profile, Memory, History, and statistics; synchronize data across sessions; deliver verification and account emails; maintain security and reliability; prevent abuse; provide support; and comply with applicable law.

4. AI processing

Relevant Profile facts, research opportunity content, screener questions and options, and submitted answers may be processed by AI service providers through our backend to generate recommendations, suggested answers, and reusable Profile facts. AI output is advisory. You remain responsible for reviewing every suggestion and for the accuracy and submission of your answers.

5. Storage on your device

Chrome local storage may contain installation and account identifiers, authentication tokens, onboarding drafts, completion state, settings, limited semantic usage records, Profile progress counters, and a temporary Screener submission queue. Authentication storage is restricted to trusted extension contexts. A queued Screener record is removed after successful delivery, a permanent failure, an account change, or no later than seven days after it was created.

6. How we disclose information

We disclose information only to service providers reasonably necessary to operate the extension, such as cloud hosting, database, email delivery, Google authentication, AI inference, security, and observability providers. These providers process information under our instructions for the purposes described in this Policy. We may also disclose information when required by law, to investigate security or abuse, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets subject to appropriate protections.

The research platforms you use independently receive the answers you submit through their websites and process them under their own privacy policies.

7. No sale, advertising, or lending use

We do not sell user data. We do not use or transfer Chrome-derived data for personalized advertising, retargeting, unrelated profiling, creditworthiness, or lending decisions. We do not allow humans to read personal or sensitive extension data except with the user’s specific consent for support, when necessary for security, when required by law, or after aggregation and anonymization for internal operations.

8. Retention

We retain information only for as long as necessary to provide the extension and related services, maintain security and reliability, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Temporary local Screener retry records are removed after successful delivery, a permanent failure, an account change, or no later than seven days after creation. Account, Profile, Memory, and History data is retained while the account remains active or until a verified deletion request is completed, subject to limited backup, legal, fraud-prevention, and security retention where necessary.

9. Your controls and choices

You can review and edit supported Profile information from the Side Panel. You can disable page assistance in Settings to stop marketplace and Screener page processing. Logging out revokes the current bound session but does not by itself delete server-side Profile data. Uninstalling the extension removes Chrome-managed local extension storage but does not by itself delete server-side account data. To request access, correction, export, or deletion of server-side information, contact support@yourlastscreener.ai. We may need to verify your account before completing a request.

10. Security

We use HTTPS for data transmitted between the extension and our services, restrict authentication storage to trusted extension contexts, limit supported website access, validate outbound page data, and apply access controls to backend systems. No security measure can guarantee absolute protection.

11. Children

YourLastScreener.AI is intended for adults aged 18 and older and is not directed to children.

12. International processing

Information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use contractual and organizational safeguards for international transfers.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy when the product or its data practices change. Material changes will be disclosed before the changed collection or use begins, and the effective date will be updated.

14. Chrome Web Store Limited Use

YourLastScreener.AI’s use and transfer of information received from Chrome APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

15. Contact
